Hi again. I found a cool website where you can make yourself a simple button for your blog. If you don't have photo editing software (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks, etc.), then get crafty and make yourself one using the GUI on this page. Enjoy!
Well, the nautical theme was fun, but entirely wrong for the blog. I mean, the whole reason I have the blog is to have something separate from my regular web site, and something completely unrelated. It didn't make any sense for a knitting blog to be nautical. So, I snapped a new picture of my delicious Extra Stampato yarn and a new banner was born. Viola! Enjoy.
Or multiple personalities, at least. It could be worse - it could be Tourettes! I just love tinkering around with the design and layout of this site. So quick, so fun, so rejuvenating. Now I pay tribute to another side of life: graduate studies in Oceanography. Do you realize that some day my business card will read, "Amanda Whitmire - Oceanographer"? That is SO rad!
Anyhow, enjoy it while it lasts...this whole shebang may be different tomorrow.
